 Pidgin tool does not connect.

 I used the tool successfully yesterday (July 1st).  This morning I was
 unable to connect even though I was online and using other applications.
 I tried to fix the issue by deleting the account and re-creating my
 account.  This wasn't successful and I now have this error displayed:
 jennifer.kernforward at oracle.com/KERNFORWARD-PC (beehive) disconnected
 SSL Handshake Failed
