 The Pidgin Theme Editor plugin has never saved its settings, as reported
 by:

 * #10252
 * #14723
 * #16331

 This is immediately apparent in the
 [https://hg.pidgin.im/soc/2015/mmcc/main/file/077a1f2a14a3/pidgin/plugins/themeedit.c#l47
 code].

 I don't think too many people would miss it, and its lack of theme saving
 is definitely a [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paper_cut_bug paper cut
 bug]. Etan agrees that it should probably be removed.

 As an added benefit, this would allow us to remove a lot of Pidgin-
 specific wrappers for GTK functions and datatypes. Also, as mentioned in
 #16716, the plugin is going to have to be either revamped or removed when
 the Pidgin code is updated for GTK+ 3.

 I can remove it in my repo. I'll share the results here when I do.
