 That environment isn't supported by Pidgin.

 That said, this is a nice coincidence, as I just started investigating
 sandboxing methods yesterday. I'm a Unix guy and know nothing about
 Windows, so I haven't looked into Sandboxie. Hopefully we'll be able to
 use Unix sandboxing tools and have them translate cleanly to what's
 available on Windows.

 I've started compiling a list of files outside of libpurple's directory
 that are accessed:

 It's pretty much a stub at the moment - the only files there are ones that
 are referenced with their absolute path as a string literal. I've seen
 some code that dynamically finds bin dirs, so it's going to take more work
 to get a more complete list.

 Just looking at line 7 of the .rpt file you shared, might that be a null
 pointer dereference? More information would be helpful.
