 gweilo8888, speaking as neither a Pidgin user nor Pidgin developer but as
 someone involved with another open source project related to Pidgin, I can
 tell that you could have saved yourself a lot of resentment by
 appreciating the fact that Pidgin is a piece of software offered to you by
 volunteers for 0 dollars/Euros/whatever and that you are not by any means
 entitled to any sort of support.

 mind.
