 This would be more appropriate to send as an email to the support mailing
 list.

 I don't understand how cygwin is relevant.

 You're not the first person to ask about disabling (or forcing enabling
 logs).

 Basically there isn't a way to completely disable logging without code
 changes.

 You can prevent logging by making the logs directory not writeable or you
 can write a logger plugin that will not actually write out the output.
