 Hi,
 I'm using pidgin to access Hipchat. As explained
 [https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/HIPCHATKB/Connecting+to+HipChat+using+Pidgin
 here], Hipchat requires a Handle distinct from the username. This triggers
 a few annoyances
 - one needs to use the “join a chat dialog” instead of clicking the room
 name
 - whenever the internet connection drops and comes back, accepting a room
 invitation doesn't work. There is a popup for each room I was in. With
 several Hipchat rooms and wifi/wired frequent switches, this can become a
 burden.

 Can I set the Handle once and for all (possibly by modifying a
 configuration file)?
