 When installing, if GTK fails to download, and "Cancel" is pressed, the
 installation continues anyway, installing essentially a "broken" app.

 == Replication steps ==

 > Be windows 10

 > Download NOT the offline installer ("online"?)

 > Go through install wizard with broken/offline internet connection.

 > GTK download fails and error appears indicating as much. Click Cancel.

 > Install continues anyway

 > (whilst already knowing the outcome) run Pidgin, fails to run, noting
 GTK probably missing.



 == Workaround ==

 Download offline installer, install "over the top", enjoy a working app!

 == Suggested fix ==

 When Cancel pressed, abort the install, perhaps even open browser to the
 suggested page.
