New description:

 This has only been tested under XMPP, hence the component listing - it may

 Pidgin will hang, and then terminate with an option to debug, to not
 debug, and to search online.


 In addition this is a regression since version 2.10.11 where it worked
 fine - this has been verified using a legacy install of 2.10.11 connecting
 to the same chat and then successfully viewing my own buddy information
 without crashing. (NOTE: 2.10.11 client tests have only been performed
 under linux, I do not have access to a windows machine running 2.10.11)
