 Interesting patch] that seems to implement both autotools and FHS support
 on the 2.x series.

 It also changed public api which is a big no-no, eg the change of the
 DATADIR #define will break some 3rd party plugins.

 I understand that its trying to allow Finch to be compiled for Windows
 too, but it's caused the GTK detection script to be incorrect.
