 Any chat room that does not contain this character '-' can have an alias
 set fine.

 E.g. imchat set with an alias of OUD Chat works fine.

 e.g. GCS_ST_JTECH-CTC with an alias of JDeveloper will not show the alias
 in the pidgin chat window and shows GCS_ST_JTECH-CTC instead which is very
 confusing.

 e.g. gcs_st_coreid with an alias of OAM Chat sets the alias fine in the
 pidgin window. So, as you can see, it is the '-' in the chat room name
 that is causing the alias to not display in the chat window, and instead
 the actual chat room name displays which is very confusing.
