 Have there been any updates to this? Can't believe this ticket is years
 old and no fix. We are on 2.10.11 and the random ordering is a complete
 pain. I want to echo gabri's comment above - can the ordering really be
 that dramatic of a performance hit? Order by name would be ideal, but I'll
 take anything consistent.
