 Hi,

 This is still re-producible on Pidgin
 3.0.0~collab-1+201606240749~ubuntu14.04.1. This is clearly a resilient bug
 and I'd rather want this than new features. It is a paper-cut bug that has
 lasted a long time.

 Steps to reproduce:

 1) Use the default '''Available''' status (with any '''message''')[[BR]]

 2) Wait for the auto-away and it will update the status to '''Away''' and
 set the message to: '''I'm not here right now'''[[BR]]

 3) Do any activity at the computer. The status is changed back to
 '''Available''', with the message: '''I'm not here right now'''
