 I am trying to use the AIM SMS feature, where I can add a phone number
 (e.g. +12025551234) to my buddy list and exchange AIM messages with it
 while the phone sees them as plain SMS messages. This works fine using the
 web client http://www.aim.com/, but I would prefer to use Pidgin.

 When I try to send a message to a phone number from Pidgin, I get the
 error "Unable to send message: Not logged in". However, the phone number
 shows as logged in on my buddy list, as long as I do not have AIM.com open
 also. The debug log reports "oscar: Message error with bn +12025551234 and
 reason 4 and errcode 0".

 I am using Pidgin 2.10.11 (Debian). Thank you.
