 As I am writing this, there are 3156 tickets in the open or pending
 status, 2643 of them not targeted for any milestone.

 A lot of those tickets have been open for years.  Literally.  The oldest
 one is 10 years old (#15).

 This could give the impression that tickets are ignored by the developers
 and discourage reporting bugs.

 It will be appreciated if those tickets could be looked at, the invalid
 ones closed and the valid ones worked on.
