 For my case: I have a lot of new clients (Skype, Telegram, WatsApp) in my
 Pidgin. I just got used to the fact that I can "mute" (sounds and
 notification message) chat on the mobile client (Android).

 Now I have a check box in the menu to turn off the chat sound. I do not
 know that the pidgin or a plugin. I want to turn off notifications button.
 Even if someone calls me by my name ;)
