 I installed Pidgin on two window machines in conjunction with Gajim and
 Monal and Xabber on an Iphone and Android, respectively. My system is
 Windows 7 and the other is Windows 8 (not 8.1) and both are 64 bit. After
 testing all four programs, everything worked perfectly except for Pidgin
 was not receiving any messages on either computer. However, Pidgin would
 correctly and reliably send messages just fine. This is my second time
 ever messing with XMPP and my first time ever messing with Pidgin. Also,
 Pidgin can accurately and quickly (freakishly quick) notify me when a
 friend goes online & offline. It has to be something not quite right with
 Pidgin because everything else works exactly as expected (even Gajim). I
 included all relevant images I could think of.
