 Let me see... this bug was opened 9 years ago. I'm running v2.10.9 on
 Ubuntu, as of the last comment there's still no change in v2.11 of the
 program.

 This is either exceedingly difficult in some way or there is no interest
 in making the change.

 Has anyone come up with a patch or other workaround?
