New description:
It's about irc.freenode.net server on centos 7-5.1804.el7.x86_64 with
pidgin 2.13.0 (libpurple 2.10.11) build from source. I'm using this
account with Pidgin successfully on Windows 10. Tried password 10-times on
Windows and same-times on CentOS. Windows are working, CentOS - no.
Settings about authentication are the same - one and only check: Modify
Account > Advanced > Authenticate with SASL. Tried other ticks on CentOS
in Modify Account > Advanced with no success.
I skipped some packages building it though. None of them looked like about
authentication, but - I'm novice.
It was the same with official build for CentOS same version (don't remeber
it for sure, but I believe it was 2.10.11).
I will give full support and experience if just it could help.
