 STR:

 1. Enable "Log all instant messages" in preferences
 2. Use XMPP account to login in Pidgin
 3. Send/receive some messages
 4. Shut down Pidgin
 5. Start Gajim and login using the same XMPP account

 RESULT:

 All instant messages appear (downloaded from the server)

 6. Exit Gajim
 7. Start Pidgin
 8. Disable "Log all instant messages" in preferences
 9. Repeat 3-5

 RESULT:

 The messages exchanged after step 6 don't appear in Gajim.

 EXPECTED:

 Separate options allowing individual control for:

 - local saving of message logs without enforcing (a potentially privacy
 disrespecting) automatic message archiving on the server.

 - Message Archiving (in case someone wants to use that server side option)

 The second one should be off by default.


 ACTUAL:

 Pidgin enforces all (server + local logs) or nothing (neither) with the
 former enabled by default.
