 I did try the Preemptive debug log suggestions but I'm guessing I did it
 wrong, that's what I meant. Sorry. And added the thing about the CPU issue
 in case that might help figure out what's happening. Pidgin doesn't crash,
 it just locks up during typing, and I can never guess how or when or where
 it locks up. My cursor just disappears in the middle of typing, then I
 can't access any part of pidgin and I have to crash it through task
 manager.

 Is Pidgin unable to take rapid typing and somehow my typing is what makes
 it crash? I can get up to 90 wpm and I don't know if it's when I'm typing
 more quickly that it causes issues.
