I just repoened ticket #21 since it seems most of us want to
completely separate libpurple from pidgin.

We also seem to want to give gaim-text some name that gives it an
identity of its own, rather than "The text version of Pidgin." Not to
start a several-month-long debate again, but... any ideas?

Since we're now a pigeon and Adium is a duck, it might make sense to
start a "libpurple-based clients have bird mascots" theme, and name it
Finch or Hummingbird or something. I picture gaim-text being a small
bird.
