.gaim Revisited

I can't believe no one brought this up before ... but this is really a
non-starter.  I expected Warren to pipe up.  ;-)

This means that I can't ever downgrade, or have both pidgin and Gaim
installed for an interim period.  I realize that we will no longer be
*supporting* Gaim, but that won't make it magically not exist any more.
