Pref Migration Agreement?

Hey folks,

Did you come to agreement on the pref migration issue?  Other than this, 
are there any other issues considered blockers for beta7?

Especially since pidgin-1.5.x will continue to be maintained for a while 
further, the shared home directory case is a very real issue.  For this 
reason I urge that pidgin-2.0.0 use a different pref location, so it 
wont confuse earlier versions.

Please don't care about the logs in two places issue.  Users can deal. 
These users are rare enough anyway.  Just handle a one-time migration 
for 2.0.0?
