An important, controversial issue!

Hi Folks!

Wouldn't it be simpler to just use the same icon as for the available  
state, bit with less saturated colors (or faded out, or a greyscale  
image, or even a hollow version) for the away state? I'm mean  
something that seams similar to the user to GUI-buttons that cannot be  
clicked (on most icon themes, they are actually grey).
