FileSystem unmount failure : lock on file due to file transfer

So:

an usb key, mounted on /mnt/key
pidgin, installed in / partition.

I transfered a file stocked on the key, let say /mnt/key/file, using msn
protocol, and it was successful.

After that I tried to unmount the key, which was not allowed. I suppose it's
a lock problem.

The only solution was to quit pidgin, and then to unmount the partition.
