For what it's worth, I originally tried a right-click on the pane to see 
if there was an option menu. Maybe a patch to add this would be accepted 
- although I'm unsure, as maybe there wouldn't be a right click option 
menu to re-enable. Not sure how others feel about that as 'style'.
