summer of code updates?

Development on my protocol plugin for MySpaceIM is going along pretty
well. I have completed much of the basic functionality and am working
on adding additional features. Last week I added support for sending
and receiving emoticons and zaps.

One difficulty I'm having... in MySpaceIM, you login with your email
address but you communicate with buddies using their username (which
is completely separate from their email address). This means that in
conversation windows, your messages show up using your email address
but your buddies show up using their username. I found
PurpleAccountUserSplit in accountopt.h but it seems to only let you
separate a username into multiple parts.

Anyways, things are going well. I'm taking a temporary break this week
and will resume programming next week. My next priority is to add
support for buddy icons.
