I'd say there's a *lot* of user interest in this one. Unfortunately all
attempts with other messengers have been hackish in the worst ways. The old
attempts for Gaim were definitely cool, but not there. It could always even
be in a plug in form couldn't it? Then it could safely have it's own
dependencies, etc.
