Are you volunteering to make documentation.php more useful? I have
doubts that it will suddenly become a well-maintained page, after
years of uselessness.
Pointing it to the FAQ is not a bad idea.
Perhaps the most convincing reason I can think of to keep Help is that
Ubuntu puts its three Launchpad links in there.

One more time: there are multiple known issues with the GTK+ stack
(I've personally seen Pango freeze) and some window managers about
resizing windows too small. We've certainly worked around such bugs
before, but I'm not sure we need to workaround this one.
Ticket #307 was a serious bug, but it was not caused by allow_shrink,
but rather by an attempt to work-around some of the cosmetic issues it
causes. I've reverted the work-around, but the cosmetic issues remain.
I think I'm convinced to bring Help back.
