Hi,

I would like to remind you of my question about the php 
binding and licenses here:

Thus, like it is there mentioned, it is perfectly ok to make GPL'ed 
PHP extensions. But it will not come into the PECL. 

So what I probably will do is to make a GPL'ed extension and
then look what's happening ;)
