Skype API Terms of Use here:
http://www.skype.com/intl/en/company/legal/terms/api.html
Nothing says it can't be under whatever licence I choose. It says I can't
sublicence the API, however I'm not doing that, I'm interoperating with
it. The Skype software and libraries aren't being modified, but I won't
be able to distribute the OSX Skype framework (have to doublecheck the
licence for this file). There's already lots of open-source Skype example
code out (eg, plugin for Miranda). To use the plugin, you will have to
agree with the Skype EULA (which you have to agree to to use Skype
anyway). There's a few other hoops that I, as the plugin developer, have
to jump through.
