why UDP6 when I use SIMPLE protocol to login SIP proxy?

I forgot to tell some detail of the problem:

    * OS platform: Ubuntu Linux 7.04 X86
    * Gnome 2.18 Desktop
    * openser SIP proxy and pigdin client both run in same Ubuntu enviroment
