Release date for 2.5.3

rekkanoryo just brought up the fact that it's been 51 days since our
last release, and we should set a release date for 2.5.3.  How does
December 18th sound to everybody?  That's 10 days away.  We can string
freeze Friday night/Saturday morning, 4 days from now.

Are there any major bugs we need to fix?
Are there any important features we should add or merge in?
John thought it would be nice if the xmpp inband bytestream file
transfer stuff could be merged in.
