View all user/buddy log

Now, after quite long time using Pidgin, I've realized that when I need 
to view my log, I have to choose a Buddy name to see. I can't see what 
all buddies have sent me.

eg: I have to go out for an hour, I set the status "Stepped Out". When 
I'm back, my laptop's out of battery and it turned off. I plug-in the 
power supply and turn it on. I can't see who've sent me a message with 
Pidgin? That's quite hard for my business.

Could we change/upgrade the "View log" function?
