Summer of Code

Hi
I am Abhinav Upadhyay currently in the Ist year of my Undergraduate
Engineering course in Information Technology. I wish to participate in the
Google Summer of Code and saw Pidgin's Project quite interesting. I am
interested in the project for writing the native user interface for MS
Windows for Pidgin.
I wanted a bit clarification on the project i.e. what exactly is required
whether the whole code is to be re-written  OR just to edit the GTK+2 code.
