Richard Laager spake unto us the following wisdom:

Alternately, and perhaps more correctly, we should be doing whatever
is necessary so that the other end's client knows we can't be
contacted via voice/video and doesn't even offer the option.
(Provided, of course, that the service has a way to communicate this.)
