Inclusion of MXit plugin into Pidgin

Hi,


We would like to add our MXit protocol plugin to the main branch of the
Pidgin source code. The source code for the plugin can be downloaded
here: http://devzone.mxit.com/libPurple/download/2/


We would be happy to commit full support for the MXit plugin
indefinitely. Our main reason for wanting to include our plugin in the
main build is so that we do not have to repackage our plugin each time a
new release of Pidgin comes out, and of course to make it easier for the
users to install and upgrade. We also published our protocol as part of
our open source initiatives (http://devzone.mxit.com/downloads/), of
which our MXit Pidgin plugin is currently the other main aspect.


We are currently more focused on mobile users, but had our own PC client
and the Pidgin plugin. However, we looked at the situation and decided
that the Pidgin based client is so much better so we decided to drop our
in-house PC client.
