I was just checking one of my friends' info in Pidgin, and I noticed this XMPP client string: Palm Messaging (libpurple 2.5.1) So it seems that the Palm Pre uses libpurple for its IM client. Just wanted to share the news, since it doesn't seem to be widely known. Congratulations! --Ibrahim Awwal
