Is there any docz on the architecure of pidgin?

I am a new guy to the pidgin project. I plan to study the architecture of the pidgin, but I find there is litter help I can get from the web, even the doc-directory in the source-code
I am not sure if there is any document on the architecture of pidgin. if there is, could you please tell me?
