Whether we go with git or hg, I'd like to provide a mirror of (at least)
our trunk in the other system.
My major concern with all of this is making things as easy as possible
for contributors and downstream users. I like the idea of having sites
like github and bitbucket available to contributors.
As far as downstream users go, it seems that Mercurial is the better
choice, as both Adium and Instantbird use it. That said, are we picking
up a lot of patches from them? If not, they really only need a read-only
clone.
