Looking for a Pidgin developer to speak on a podcast

Hello world.

TWiT is a podcast network with a large listener base, and spearheaded by Leo
Laporte (you might remember him from TechTV/TheScreensavers). There is a
show on the network, FLOSS (Free Libre Open Source Software -
http://twit.tv/show/floss-weekly) that has covered an incredibly amount of
open source software and people behind them. But they haven't talked about
Pidgin and I think that should be fixed.

I'm trying to find a developer at Pidgin that'd be available on a future
Wednesday at 11amPST. The show is an hour long, and I think it would be
really easy to fill that time. It'd start with the GAIM days (and AOL's, um,
involvement...) and then on to what Pidgin is and the community. I think
it'd be really cool for the first 25 minutes to be focused on
Pidgin/libpurple. Then bring on a developer from Adium & Instantbird and
start a conversation about how crazy it is that open source can foster
development in seemingly competing projects but behind the scene everyone's
supporting each other. It really is an incredible concept and deserves an
audience.

I'd love to hear from developers that would speak on behalf of the project
(vs. saying "Mr. X should do it" and then I can't get him to respond.) From
there I'll put the 3 speakers in touch with the guy who runs the podcast and
then I'll just sit back and wait to hear it.

A huge fan,
@ecaron
