Statistic plugin status

Hi

IIRC the statistic plugin and webpage were finished successfully. I am
wondering if there are plans to merge it to the 3.0.0 branch.

Also, I have notice that the webpage listed in the SOC2012 page is not working.

And I would like to have the version of GTK used added to the
statistic just  get a better view of how this transition is going on.
