GSoC success criteria

We have had some bad experiences about non successful GSoC projects, some
of them finished and rotting on its own branch, some of them unfinished and
so on.

I would like to open a discussion about what should we set as our minimum
success criteria for the students.

I will start proposing to have the code working and merged in one of our
main branches, preferably in main.
