Pidgin/Libpurple connects directly to the IM service providers (AKA, MS for
MSN, Google for Google talk, Yahoo for Yahoo, whoever for ICQ and AIM).
Libpurple team does not have any server as a proxy or whatever.
A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
