Google Season of Docs

Greetings Programs,

While we passed on Google Summer of Code again this year for various
reasons, I'm intending on applying for the Google Season of Docs [1] which
was announced today.  My hope is that if we're accepted the tech writer can
help us finish transitioning the content from https://pidgin.im and
https://developer.pidgin.im to the new site which you can currently view at
https://nest.pidgin.im.  Although looking at the timeline, hopefully we
will have most if not all of the documentation transitioned by the time the
program actually begins on August 1st.

This new site is a static site generated from Markdown by Hugo [2].  You
can find it's source repository at https://bitbucket.org/pidgin/nest.
