openSUSE & SLES/SLED is here as well.

We distribute latest pidgin version only with the latest product
(openSUSE Factory) only with a small effort to backport it (it is
available from unofficial community repositories in the openSUSE Build
Service). In case of community support I don't see a problem to say:
"Please update gtk+ and glib as well. They are backward compatible."

All released distributions stay at versions from time of its release.

Until now we were able to backport all security and protocol issues to
released versions. Our gaim still works with ICQ and our pidgin-2.3.1
still connects to Yahoo. Well, there is an exception:
SSL certificate verification support was not backported to gaim and old
versions of pidgin and we did a version update there.
