signature corrupt or invalid

I realized that we hadn't responded to this yet, sorry for the delay.

There are instructions on the website (
https://developer.pidgin.im/wiki/Are%20the%20packages%20signed ) for
validating the downloaded installer.

There is a known issue where a certificate used by the third party service
that is used to confirm when the installer was signed expired, causing
warnings similar to what you're seeing.

If you follow the instructions in the above link you'll be able to be
confident you've got a good installer.
