Pidgin as an IM client does not have accounts. Pidgin connects to
accounts on other services.

The only data we host is the email list archives and our developer's
(those with @pidgin.im email addresses) home directories.

Whata "records" or data would you be looking to preserve?

This sort of thing should be sent to board at imfreedom.org

Additionally, would you also please inform us how Pidgin prefers to receive legal process (e.g., via e-mail, fax, etc.), and to whom and where such process should be addressed? Thank you very much for your assistance in this matter.
