Records Preservation Inquiry

Thanks for the response. I understand that Pidgin is more of a platform than a communications service provider, and, as such, does not maintain user accounts. Could you please confirm that Pidgin would not be able to preserve or produce any message content or other details related to its users. Thanks again for your help here.

Pidgin as an IM client does not have accounts.  Pidgin connects to accounts on other services. 

The only data we host is the email list archives and our developer's (those with @pidgin.im email addresses) home directories. 

Whata "records" or data would you be looking to preserve? 

This sort of thing should be sent to board at imfreedom.org
