Hi All,
downloaded and installed 2.3.1 to see if it would fix my continuing 
problem with no text returned from google talk and now it won't even 
login to google talk.  Seems to start fine then disconnects immediately 
after with an "Unsupported Stanza Type" error.  Debug Info:
(12:23:13) *jabber:* Recv (ssl)(216): 
<stream:error><unsupported-stanza-type 
xmlns="urn:ietf:params:xml:ns:xmpp-streams"/><str:text 
xmlns:str="urn:ietf:params:xml:ns:xmpp-streams">XML namespace not 
declared correctly for stanza.</str:text></stream:error>
System Info:
Linux version 2.6.9-67.EL (brewbuilder at ls20-bc1-14.build.redhat.com) 
(gcc version 3.4.6 20060404 (Red Hat 3.4.6-8))
